About the Journal

The International Journal of Management, Knowledge and Learning (IJMKLis a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal that publishes research papers in the areas of management and organizational learning, education, innovation in business and entrepreneurship, and related social science research. The journal strives for academic excellence and contributes to the global discourse on educational and management innovation and contemporary challenges in management and education.

All manuscripts are subject to a strict double-blind peer-review process, which ensures the scientific relevance and methodological soundness of the published research. The quality of the journal is ensured by an internationally renowned editorial board composed of leading scholars from around the world in the field of management and organizational learning, education, and innovation in business and entrepreneurship. The journal publishes original and review scientific articles, empirical research, and professional papers in English, shaping the global dialogue on contemporary management and pedagogical approaches. We adhere to high ethical standards in research and publishing (see Ethical Principles for more information).

Aims and scope

The International Journal of Management, Knowledge and Learning (IJMKL) aims to bring together researchers and practitioners in business, education and other sectors to provide advanced knowledge in the areas of management, knowing and learning in organisations, education, business, social science, entrepreneurship, and innovation in businesses, and others.

The journal encourages the exchange of academic research and provides all those involved in research and practice with new research findings, case examples and discussions. It brings new ideas and offers practical case studies to researchers, practitioners, consultants, and especially young researchers and doctoral students worldwide.

The journal primarily publishes scientific papers in the fields of:

  • management and business
  • human resource development, education and training
  • information technologies in the fields of education, organisational learning and knowledge management

All articles are freely available in accordance with the principles of open access and the DORA declaration, making the research widely accessible and visible in the international academic environment. The journal operates on a Diamond Open Access model, meaning that we do not charge APCs at any stage of submission, peer review, or publication, and thus adheres to the principles of the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science. IJMKL is published twice a year, with each issue including carefully selected articles addressing current challenges in management and organizational learning, education, and innovation in business in entrepreneurship.

Copyright

The journal supports open access, which means that all articles are freely available on the journal's website as soon as they are published. Authors transfer material copyright to the journal upon publication, while all moral rights remain with the author. All articles are available for download and use, allowing sharing and adaptation of the content under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. This requires that appropriate attribution is given, and if the material is transformed or built upon, the resulting work must be distributed under the same license. The journal does not charge for any stage of the process, including submission, peer review, and publication.
